A doctor-facing application for paediatric clinical workflows, records, scheduling, and automation.
Clinical users needed a streamlined interface that respected healthcare data complexity without turning daily work into an administrative burden.
We designed a clinician-first interface layered on top of FHIR-native records, workflow automation, and task-specific navigation patterns.
Doctors gained a faster way to manage clinical steps while remaining connected to the wider care ecosystem.
The calls that shaped this build, including the options we turned down. Most case studies publish only the half that worked.
A task-shaped workspace
A generic FHIR resource browser
Clinicians open the app with a task, not a resource type. Navigation follows appointments and cases, so the FHIR structure stays underneath the interface rather than in front of it.
Mantine UI as the component layer
A bespoke design system for a single clinical app
The value here is clinical workflow, not components. An accessible library off the shelf left the budget where the client actually needed it.
Bot-driven automation for the repetitive clinical steps
Manual multi-screen sequences for every routine action
The administrative burden was the complaint. Automating the predictable steps was what made the daily work shorter, not a faster interface.
